Crazy Rainfalls in SW Minnesota

Major flooding in SW MN. I’ve heard anywhere from 5-12”. Many roads closed. Ramsey Falls aren’t as calm now as my other pictures it’s really roaring today.

If you plan on traveling in the area please check 511MN for road reports. If there is water on the road go around, don’t drown, find another route.

ABOUT

At 219 acres in size, Alexander Ramsey Park is the largest municipal park in the State of Minnesota. Termed as the “Little Yellowstone of Minnesota”, the park is enhanced by 1930’s Civilian Conservation Corps shelters and bridges and picturesque Ramsey Falls. The park serves as a focal point for community events, festivals and summer activities and features campground facilities, shelter houses, four miles of paved hiking trails, a DNR trout stream, scenic overlooks, and a zoo.
